These terms explain how you may use the Crown & Compass website and what you can expect from us. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site, and feel free to call us instead.
What we do
Crown & Compass is a senior transition advisory service in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. We help families understand their options, prepare questions, compare senior living communities, arrange tours, and connect with helpful professionals.
We are independent. We do not own or run any senior living community.
What we are not
- We are not a medical provider, and nothing here is medical advice. Talk with your loved one's doctor about health and care needs.
- We are not a law firm, a financial advisor or a tax advisor. For questions about wills, powers of attorney, Medicaid, benefits, taxes or paying for care, please speak with a qualified professional such as an elder law attorney.
- The information on this site, including webinars and the "A Few Gentle Questions" page, is general. It is not a recommendation for a specific person.

How we are paid
Crown & Compass does not charge families for its senior transition guidance. Some senior living communities and service providers may compensate us through referral arrangements. We will explain applicable relationships so you understand how we are paid.
If separate real estate or other professional services are needed, any applicable fees and agreements will be explained before you decide whether to use them. Those services are provided under their own agreements.

Webinars and the questions page
- Webinar dates, topics and presenters can change. We will do our best to let registered people know.
- Signing up for a webinar or answering the questions does not create a contract and does not obligate you to use our services.

- Please give us accurate information.
- If you share details about a parent or loved one, please do so only if you are allowed to, and with their wishes in mind. Their voice belongs in the conversation.
- Please do not misuse the site, try to break into it, or send us anything unlawful or harmful.
Communities and other websites
We may point you to senior living communities, professionals or other websites. We do not control them. Prices, openings, services and quality can change, so please confirm everything directly, visit in person, and ask for terms in writing before you decide.
Our content and images
The text, design and logo on this site belong to Crown & Compass. Please do not copy them without asking. Some pictures on this site are illustrations, not photographs of real families or clients. The Mom's House badge belongs to Mom's House and is shown to describe Shanta's credential. [CONFIRM: permission and wording for the badge]
No promises, and limits on our responsibility
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is." We do not promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that any community or professional will be right for your family. To the extent the law allows, Crown & Compass is not responsible for losses that come from using the site or from decisions made using its information.
